hey, i'm soren

i've been making stuff as long as i can remember. what began as playing with paper plates and random bits of string from my grandmother's junk drawer turned into a life-long passion for creating art.

i’ve dabbled in just about every avenue of art-making but am formally educated in digital audio and visual production, earning my b.a. in emergent digital practices from the university of denver in 2024. i am particularly interested in projection-based work, video synthesis, and immersive soundscapes.

my work explores themes of decay and regrowth, liminal spaces and uncertain paths, altered states of consciousness as routes to healing, and forging identity and meaning in spite of everything.

outside of the projects showcased here, i have been drawing, painting, and woodburning for fun (and the occasional commission) for over a decade.
